Only currently running full time on a PII 266 and a 300
My P3 is going in for MB replacement (probably...it freezes under no load with no activity and its under warranty)
The laptop only runs it when its on and on the weekends.

Capcal?
(a) They use network bandwidth, not much CPU power. So when you install it, you'rer sucking up some of the Internet capacity. I would call that a "bad".
(b) Me, I'd prefer donating to cancer research (I think there's one of them out there) or SETI than whatever payments I'd get out of CapCal, assuming they actually do pay and that's not something they say to lure people in.

Actually...
I might try it as an experiment...see what happens.
As I read through the site I noticed the same line you did...which means SETI and this are not mutually exclusive. I run the cl version of SETI on all my machines...its alot faster and I like other screen savers better.
So...I was thinking of setting one machine on its own little network to shield the rest of my machines from it...and then let it go...see if they pay (and track what they do via logs ;)
Maybe I'll do a running commentary.
