Here's a wager
14 cents says the Democrats gain 4 seats in the Senate. (A total of 55)

Snicker
How am I supposed to have any fun with you if you keep on being realistic?
But seriously, I've noticed lately, several of my friends and family who voted Republican are now not. I'm not saying they have actually decided to vote against the Republicans, just not to vote at all. (Some of these people would rather eat a live dog than vote Democratic).
Do you think the naked politicaliztion of our 'oh so inevitable' war with Iraq may have something to do with that, and if not, what is the reason(s) so many Republicans are disenchanted?
Personally, I think the bush gang may have been the best thing to happen for the Democratic party since Nixon. (And I think Bush is more crooked).

depends on what your definition of eat is. :-)
I vote for the person, not a party. I tend to vote for a balanced government, not too many of one or the other. FL dem candidates in federal races dont like drilling in ANWAR I do so scrap them. In state races the repos strangle the legislature so a demo governor would balance that, mkay gets my vote unless he screws the pooch. Wether I vote for shrub depends on wether gore gets the dems nomination, so far that is unlikely unless the repos realize it is their best interest to get a bore/gush going again. Will be taking a set of dice with me to the polling booth as no one in florida lets me know anything about local races. thanx, bill

Well...
polls appear to support the fact that they effectively stole the NJ seat.
Thats 1 that they were gonna lose.
