New inherit the wind (scopes monkey trial)
saw the movie tonight. Wasnt clarence darrow a part of this? Very well acted but I feel that it was very BS'd is the court transcript available anywhere? Needc to review the "facts"

New I saw two versions, the other day(s)!
First with Jack Lemmon, and then the classic with Spencer Tracy (which I'd seen before) as whossname, "Cates'" defense attorney. On the same channel, on consecutive days! Weird, innit... Which one was it you saw?

Very well acted but I feel that it was very BS'd

As discuessed a few months back here, The play and movie "Inherit The Wind" were only very loosely based on the Scope Monkey Trial and are more targeted around anti-Intellectual MacCarthyism of the 50s thanb the actual trial
