Apparently if you have a lot of machines to update, and don't want to run Windows Update over the Internet on them all, you can download the service packs, hotfixes, and other stuff from Microsoft from a website.

Don't even bother for an Internet based update, download what you need to your PC or Network, and either Burn a CD with the files on it, or run from a network location.

[link|http://corporate.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp|[link|http://corporate.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp|http://corporate.wi.../default.asp]] is the page currently. Go there, download what you need, keep a note of the file names and what they do, and then burn that CD or place them on the network and run it.

No need to run Windows Update in this case. Enjoy!
