Microsoft Buys Liquid Audio Patents for $7 million.
Monday: Microsoft added Liquid Audio patents to its portfolio designed to dominate (read, monopolize) digital content delivery and DRM (Digital Rights Management).
In other action, Microsoft management says CPU chip based Paladium initiative has nothing at all to do with DRM, but Microsoft help wanted ads for Paladium team emphasize DRM development. Which do you believe?
New Microsoft DRM server due out before end of year.
Is that enough for now, or do you need more?

Edwards?
Never heard of him, have a web page handy? I voted for Bush, but only because he was the least bad of all the choices. Nader? GMAFB. Gore? Ick! Bush? Also ick, but less icky than Gore.

My senator, [link|http://edwards.senate.gov/|pretty boy] Edwards. All things, to all people. Another sleaze lawyer, but polished and well camouflaged.

Big Trial lawyer, was smart as hell in his first campaign
wouldnt respond to his opponants attack adds saying he was above it while employing issue attack folks to drown the Pig Farmer he was runnung against. His opponant didnt know what hit him. He is still married to his first wife, has kids in public schools (at the time he ran) and has been "blessed" by the senate by getting him in on action that juniors dont usually get with both sides of the aisles blessing. Just a matter of time unless he trips over his schlong.(or somebody else does). thanx, bill
