My Oracle 7.3.4 database on NT server is open after the server reboots My Oracle 8i database on 2000 server is closed after the server reboots I set it so it says that the instance is started when the service starts the service starts automatically the instance does not start ????? Post #53,733 by morganek 9/28/02 2:02:43 PM Reply	Dang--Posted before but lost Posted this Wednesday night--maybe I screwed-up somehow. Please try changing SQLNET.ORA. Parameter SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICE=(NTS) should read SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICE=(NONE). The problem is that the Oracle Service attempts to start before the authentication services are available.
