I've been thinking of cancelling cable and my cable modem and getting adsl and a dish. But now maybe I'll just get adsl and screw TV. I've been trying to cut my usage (and the cost!) of TV and this will sure make it much easier. Farscape's the only show I still have any loyalty to so if it really gets canned, I'll no longer have a reason to procrastinate killing cable. And on the plus side, I can use the money to buy more games. David "LordBeatnik"

I was actually going to check out their site today to see when the next one was coming. Last I saw was Crighton (spoiler deleted) and realizing he just wormholed to the wrong place. Was that the last one or have I missed some already? AT&T then bought/stole/absconded with TCI, and now you can get Sci-Fi again...if you're willing to pony up for Digita Cable (which I'm not). So I've missed most of Farscape. Post #51,139 by hnick 9/9/02 5:29:40 PM Reply	My sympathy is all it should be... A bit over a year ago, my wife got in a pissing match with Adelphia, who had bought our previous cable company. The cable was terminated. It has been blissfully_{no tv} tranquil_{no tv}. An HBO show about modern gangsters is making a comeback. She HAS to see this... We now have a satellite dish_{tv... aw shit}. And Sci-Fi is about 50% commercials... Hundreds of channels, and nothing to watch... grrrrr..

Down Unda, [link\|http://www.ninemsn.com.au/\|Channel Nine Australia] - yes, one of the co-creators - really didn't give a rats' about their fans. First season was shown around whatever else Nine wanted to screen. The second half of the first season was squeezed into non-ratings. The whole of the second season had completely inconsistent times and was squeezed into the next non-ratings period. They haven't even screened season 3, let alone season 4. I might rent the DVD's. Wade. "Ah. One of the difficult questions."
