If I view source to include the link I get 253? Ah, got it. He just included the text without the link and he included the 6 double-spaces (omitted in HTML) after periods that he types by habit. I have the same habit, even though it is a useless thing to do in a web environment. Still...while it would be possible to grab the post and work with it (either via cut and paste or other means), and then cat the file, I think it was technical analysis of the number of characters and correction of counts. I can whip up Perl scripts and the like but generally take a more relaxed approach when posting here. I don't count the character when I write something up. I really try not to think about characters in HTML. :-) PS: Ah, we can let the ... drop now I guess. :-)
