Traficant, for instance, was an idiot to try to represent himself. What is it they say, a lawyer who represents himself has a fool for a client? How much worse is it when the guy isn't even a lawyer!

The guy from New Joisey (don't remember his name off the top of my head) was probably as guilty as Traficant but sucked up real well and got off with a slap on the wrist.
