The tiny number reflects the same sort of 'careful oversight' as the physicians allegedly employ: with the result that maybe a handful/year out of Millions ever face Any disciplinary action. What is it they say, a lawyer who represents himself has a fool for a client? How much worse is it when the guy isn't even a lawyer! The guy from New Joisey (don't remember his name off the top of my head) was probably as guilty as Traficant but sucked up real well and got off with a slap on the wrist. Sigh. How many things have how many of them done wrong? Remember the House Bank scandal? "What, you mean overdrawing my account for a hundred thousand dollars is wrong?" The lawyers would mostly rather be what they are than get out of the way even if the cost was Hammerfall. - Jerry Pournelle
