New That is a worry
Nobody really knows how much of an impact on the real economy Wall St can have. Some think it is not very much. Some think a lot. As for me..I admit ignorance. I lean towards thinking that Wall St takes itself too seriously, and shouldn't worry about causing the overall economy to implode. But I don't know.

Cheers,
Ben

New The reason Wall Street takes itself so seriously ...
... is because so many other people keep telling it to. It's just like popularity: People are popular because they are popular. As soon as the general consensus is that someone is no longer popular, they're not. IOW Wall Street has influence because Wall Street has influence.
