New rpm -q --queryformat '%{ARCH}'\\n package
I think that'll get you what you're looking for. You can find the gory details in [link|http://www.rpm.org/max-rpm/s1-rpm-query-parts.html#S3-RPM-QUERY-QUERYFORMAT-OPTION|Maximum RPM]. The RPM 4.0.3 included with Debian Woody has a --querytags option that dumps all supported tags. I would assume a RH based installation also has that capability.
New That's twisted...
...did I mention I like twisted?

Thanks.
