Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Sone thoughts.
Caveat: I have only played it a few hours in multi-player mode.

I found it was very pretty, as Thane has already said, but there were a few odd limitations. Key was that the map doesn't zoom out enough, making it easy to get lost if your character respawns and has to come back from the village. I also missed Diablo's translucent map.

Speaking of Diablo, the battle interface was better than Diablo. It was easier to identify a target for attacking and easier to entice only one to come within range. That said, shortly before we stopped for the night, it became apparant we weren't as powerful as we were supposed to be, but I don't know what we'd missed!

Wade.

"Ah. One of the difficult questions."

New Yes, better than a Diablo clickfest
In Diablo/Diablo 2, you have to sit there clicking like a maniac to hit your opponents. At least with Dungeon Seige, there's a generous "auto attack" ability, though I do seem to find myself gulping those healing potions.

Armed one member of my group with a bow, and she pretty consistently shoots at stuff I'm whacking, even when she's off the edge of the screen. I don't know why the third member of my party keeps lagging back and sitting on his ascii.
