Voicestream == no coverage when needed.
Went to visit family in Montana. Drove from Minnesota to Montana through North Dakota. Outbound trip was uneventful. But on the return trip I blew the engine in North Dakota. 60 miles west of Bismarck. Tried to call 911 to get assistance. "No Service". Had to wait until a passing motorist stopped and called for me. Wouldn't have been such a big deal if I was by myself, but I had the entire family with me (5 teenage daughters and my wife).
Now, reread the () from about and figure out why it became an issue.... Think anatomy and bodily functions... Stranded on the side of the interstate, two hours after the meal break, just when we had started to watch for a rest stop...
I had no problem, they all received a lesson in "field expediency".
Anyway, since Voicestream doesn't service the area I need, I've switched to Verizon.
