(Although it is sticky if one will lose their job for "not being a team player" and disobeying bad orders, such as shreading.) There has to be a better way than killing the entire company. Remember, this would be a temporary situation to get the economy back on track. And then fire congress for allowing H1B's during a tech downturn. ________________ oop.ismad.com

"Can't legislate morality" -?- Oh yes you can.. but the irony ever is: you are then trying to cover all loopholes where there exists a fundamental dishonesty in the ones being 'governed': like most of bizness 2000. I have no idea how mere legislation + the fact that the miniscule ratio of police/population is based upon the presumption that most.. are honest-enough -?- could reconcile. If obey orders and lose the war, then you are hung by the victors. Morals or not, it is a sticky mess. People have families to raise. It is hard to risk screwing your own family for the sake of high morals. I am not necessarily justifying such, but Darwin tends to punish the high moral ground. I remember a PNR program on wistleblowers. Many of the callers who told stories were fired for not being a "team player". One medical technician told of a sloppy surgeon who covered up his bad work with lies and fraud. Ask to video-tape any operation you have. I have been a peon under sleezbags who have asked me to help them sleezicate. I don't like to be in that situation one single bit, but there is often no easy exit. (It did not involve medical or safety risks, only money. What really pisses me off is that they had honest alternatives that appeared better from a success-standpoint than their dark plan to me.) ________________ oop.ismad.com
