...standing and of injury. If the father does not have custody of the child, the question is whether he has standing to have that child represented. If no injury is documented to the child, then there's also a question of whether the plaintiff can sue in that situation.

Personally, I think the Supreme Court will probably skirt the issue and simply dismiss the lawsuit on technical grounds, leaving the question open for another day.

Perhaps I should have gone to law school after all. :-)

There is the question of...
