I like it, would move there easily if there were a good job waiting.

But, it's not Chicago, New York, San Francisco, or even Dallas/Ft. Worth.

Very family oriented, middle class, cheap housing costs. Very vanilla. Not too many trees, on the plains.

It has 4 seasons (unlike Texas where I live). You get snow/ice 3-6 times a winter. Just enough to enjoy it, but not so much that you live in it for 6 months (like Minneapolis).

If you have a family, want a place to settle down.
