Had a burnout, which feels understandable given the subject matter. Though I suspect he still does much of the research and writing. He also had the same unflappable down-to-earth calm and friendly tone.

I'm not so sure about how much of their viewpoint is "rancher", though: At least he has a background as a writer or reporter in (national?) mainstream media, I think somewhere up Northeast -- he talked (or wrote somewhere?) about how he'd adopted a "standard" accent to conceal his "redneck" origins.

Only sometimes, when he rocked back on his feet a bit, could you catch what was below his upper chest. In my more conspiracy-theoretical moments I still sometimes wonder if he did it on purpose. Not that I think "Beau" and "Belle" are their real names, at least not both; feels like a little too much of a coincidence.
