New And next I'm making my own clear refrigerator
I hate losing stuff in the fridge. Things go bad and you forget you have them. And the bottom line is there's never enough room so you squish it further and further and destroy the airflow. I can do better.

Clear plastic rectangular shoe bins. Hot glued together. Multiple individual compartments.

Piezoelectric cooling chip slapped on the side. Keep on slapping until appropriate coolness reached in each compartment. Tie it together using my multiple thermostat controlled plugs.

Go to used store and buy three double paned windows for 20 bucks. Hot glue them to three sides for insulation. Double pane the front if I have to but I don't think I'll have to.

When I run out of space for food, make another.
New Izzat a new application of Piezo-, or did you mean Peltier?
Also, do you have a nuclear powerplant of your own? Those fuckers eat power like there's no tomorrow, I hear. (Or, enough to make sure there won't be a tomorrow...) IIRC Technology Connections has a video on how those tiny desktop six-small-cans-of-beverage fridges suck, and AFAICR that was mostly because they use Peltier plates.

Didn't you just recently slaughter a perfectly good working refrigerator? If you still have the innards, just put those in a glass (double-, triple-, or more multiply-paned) cabinet...?

New Yes peltier, sorry my mistake
And yes I have one those tiny desktop fridges. I love it. Yes it's efficiency sucks. I don't care.

No, I will not be reusing the pieces of the torn apart fridge other than as a carcass for a table and various parts. I just used a whole bunch of screws from it. The compressor is sitting broken apart in a pile of trash. I'm quite happy to have it there.

I want solid state refrigeration. I Will have solid state refrigeration. If a refrigerator costs me three bucks a month to run right now and this thing cost me nine bucks a month, do you really think it will matter?

New Refer?
I assume you mean refrigerator. I cannot possibly get the insulation out of it. I would think it would be filled with poison gas that then deposits on the meat. I won't be using it for that purpose. But I guess if you have a really old one that you can truly rip apart you're left with a steel frame.
