In those days "gays" had to do with emotion state and no relation to sex orientation.

What makes you think they weren't against general happiness?
They aren't there to do anything positive. They're there to tear down stuff they don't like. So yes, while this is a joke, the bottom line is they don't want other people to be happy. |
