. . which is worse than in Medieval times, or during the "Gilded Age" of the late 19th century. So long as the people suffering from this keep voting for Republicans, it will only get worse. By definition, half of Americans are of below average intelligence, and a whole lot more are just plain stupid. |

Property crime* seems to scale almost linearly with poverty. It seems when people can get what they need legally, they don't have so much incentive to try to take it from someone else. * Only at the low end. The real property crimes are wage theft and civil asset forfeiture. -- Drew |
