Post #45,310 by tonytib 7/12/02 3:04:59 PM Reply	Well, some people like it there Seagate still has a facility in OKC because when they wanted to close it, a good number of the employees refused to relocate, and they didn't want to lose all that talent. One engineer I've talked to from OKC likes it pretty well there. And the cost of living is quite reasonable. Tony

But, it's not Chicago, New York, San Francisco, or even Dallas/Ft. Worth. Very family oriented, middle class, cheap housing costs. Very vanilla. Not too many trees, on the plains. It has 4 seasons (unlike Texas where I live). You get snow/ice 3-6 times a winter. Just enough to enjoy it, but not so much that you live in it for 6 months (like Minneapolis). If you have a family, want a place to settle down. Glen Austin
