New I got bugs
I was off for a forced doctor's visit that I have to do to get my prescriptions. I had spent the previous day writing up how little I needed doctors and how annoyed I was with them being the gatekeepers to my medications and I wrote about 3 pages of essentially saying how little I want to be here, how worthless it is, how much it's costing me, and how much I don't want to do this in the future.

And then I had to add a paragraph how we really need to now deal with the real reason. I'm here, the bugs.

Rather than read it to her or use it as notes for our discussion, I simply handed it to her. She read for about 5 minutes and laughed and shrugged and scowled and when she was done she started writing prescriptions. Of course she gave me everything she was legally allowed to. It will save me a lot of money on doctor's visits over the year since I won't have to show up for refills.

Then on to the bugs.

They showed up last week. A few dots on my left arm. Then there were more. Then some showed up on my right arm. They don't itch. They don't hurt. They're tiny, little round scab looking things with increasing redness around them as my body reacts.

Whenever I have some type of skin presentation, I don't think infection. I don't think bugs. I think my liver has finally given up and this is the first symptom as all the poison is being dealt with by my skin.

So when I figured out it was bugs, it's a relief.

My doctor never saw anything like this before. As she started going through the list of things it's not, I stopped her. I've had them all. I know it's not those. What's this new thing?

When I was 16 I was hallucinating mildly from some LSD while sitting in my bedroom scratching at an itch in my crotch. I picked something out of there and looked at it and it looked back at me. That is is not the time to find out you have crabs.

No one else in the office had any idea. They recommended a full course of ivermectin. After those Maga people went insane on it and drove up the price, it now starts at 80 bucks for the course. Or $400, depending on which pharmacy you get it from.
