But at this point it doesn't matter. I like this thing. When it breaks I'll throw it away and maybe replace it. Or maybe get some plastic trays then.

But until then, once a month I'm going to make a lot of ice. I've got lots of freezer space to keep it. But past that I'm not going to make anymore or else I'd have to buy more freezer space. On the other hand, freezers prefer to be full. This will be good for them.

After each run, I let it sit on the counter with a fan blowing from the top into it for a few hours to dry it out before I put it away.
