It installed without problems and seems to work but I have no idea what it would look like when it was broken unless it was really obvious.

Someone then rolled a version that met Google's restrictions by removing functionality to get it back on the Play Store. That was done using the official package name and a higher version number. Cue mayhem... The core team has been working to get both versions back in sync. Not sure yet how far along they've gotten. I switched to the F-Droid version as I did get hit by the upgrade to the crippled version.

I am going to stick with supported wherever possible and I have no idea how policies and permissions would affect me as a single end user who's not coding. Just think of me as a tool using monkey. I say that as I'm running up and down the ladder and using various tools to hang stuff. Except a couple days ago, I sliced both my thumbs so it's a combination of Newskin and Band-Aids and blood. Monkeys are worthless without thumbs.
