Gets the blood going.

Have her log on to some right-wing rag site and argue. Doesn't take anything more than a brain and a mouth and an attitude.

Let her take out some of her unavoidable world rage there.

I do it on Fark so I try to make sure I don't spill over here. Oops, occasionally. I've been doing it a lot more over there lately.

A 10-second discussion with my daughter can stroke me out from the blood pressure jump, but I find a good flame war relaxing.

Although she is a woman of strong, not invariably well-informed opinions, she would no sooner spar online than I would do karaoke, and that possibly is something that would not occur, if ever, until late in the afternoon preceding the entropic heat death of the universe. She has long regarded all the time I spend in online discussions as partaking of some kind of masculine mystery, rather the way certain elements of the female thought process will ever be closed to those of us in the Y chromosome club.
