I was watching the weather today. The computerized weather maps show this massive storm coming from the left. The left is the ocean. Then it shows it traveling across the area I live in and then to Seattle.

The area I live in is bordered by mountains. I can see the storm splitting. The rain goes north and the rain goes south and exactly where I live, the rain is not there. It's a pretty sunny day out.

Peter. when I moved here you told me I was moving into the long dark. I accept that. It gets dark at four and light at eight. But in between that it is wonderful.
