New I thought the phone had a real GPS, not just tower triangulation
I'm not expecting to use the phone for communications. I understand I need a real radio in this boat. But for straight GPS? The phone should work.
New Oh, for the GPS yeah, I meant communication
Though if I were using it just for GPS I'd put it in airplane mode so it doesn't kill the battery constantly searching for a signal.
