New to me in hotels
Not new to me in the office complexes I worked in when I worked in Manhattan. New to at least a dozen people that I saw as I had to teach them over the 2 days. New enough to be surprising to many people. |

One would think a lot of those people have also worked in office buildings.
They come to a hotel, get a plastic card for a key, step into the elevator and are a little surprised at first as nothing happens when they press a button... And it doesn't fucking immediately occur to them that they could try waving that plastic key card at the controls just like they've been doing at the office for years already?
