a retiree picks up his new vette from the dealer
turns on to the freeway and gives it a little gas and is soon doing 90mph
"wow" he thought "feels like i am barely moving"
looking in the rearview he see's a state trooper with lights flashing coming up fast behind him.
He slams the gas pedal and is soon doing 120 then 130mph the troopers i maintaing behind him.
"I am too old for this" he thought and brought the car to a halt at the side of the road.
the trooper approaches and he rolls down the window to talk to him.
"I know I was going way too fast, just picked it up from the dealer" he told the trooper.
trooper: "well sir I get off shift in 30 minutes, so if you give me a reason for speeding that I haven't heard before I will let you off with a warning."
retiree thinks for a moment the said "My wife left me years ago for a state trooper and when I saw you in my rearview I thought you were trying to bring her back"
trooper: "have a nice day"
