She has a specific goal. Not to get beat up by the fluffy face cat. She knows I'll protect her.

So she sticks close with me when we're not in the bedroom. That means I have a cat nearby that's about to be attacked by another cat and I have to constantly intervene. So this cat will look to me to tell her where to go next, where is safe, and she ends up following my directions.

On the other hand, she determines when she's going to follow the directions. I can never depend on it.
