His proudest moment was getting a speeding ticket on a bike. OK, it was just a residential speed limit he was breaking, but he did it uphill!
I believe he framed the cheque he paid the bill off with. :-)

...down Mt. Tam. The summit road (you missed it on your trip) is classic mountain two-lane highway, lots of turns and steep grade. A bike's ability to keep speed through turns usually beat a car's ability to accellerate the straightaways, though Porsches were a toss-up. The ones I did pass were a kick.
