I’ve yet to persuade him that—as I firmly believe—he has not been victimized by outside villains compromising his machine. I have accordingly set him up with a new gmail account, and will tomorrow place in his hands a “burner” computer (an elderly “MacBook Air”) he can employ to go online without caring about what the supposed bad actors might do. We may, I trust, look forward to his return to these precincts shortly.
