Anyone got a Flashplayer alternative working?
Now that it's been shut off, there's an online game I've been playing that doesn't work any more. I've seen there were a few project aiming to create a open SWF player, but the one I've tried (gnash) doesn't seem to work.
Anyone know of one that works?

Do you know how far back I have to go?
Clearly the put the kill switch into the plugins a while ago. Oh, and it't not the browser blocking it. It's the plugin itself.

Roll the date back? Or ...
disable the date checkThis promises to make the current version work again. Haven't tested it as I banished FP years ago.

Stop doing that.
There's no game so good that it's worth infecting your system with Flash.

Yes, because I can't turn it off by default and only allow it on that one page

If it makes you feel any better
Something I did yesterday is preventing this from working. I tried two different alternative plugins, then removed them, but something didn't revert its settings and Chromium is no longer launching the original flashplayer.
