and my brother and I are livid. We didn't know she was being released until AFTER she called to tell us that she was home. They didn't call either one of us to arrange to come get her, she was given to the caretaker lady whom she hired 2 months ago to help her while her fractured wrist heals. And now that nurses in the area are on strike, we think she was pushed out before the strike was initiated.

What's worse is that a nurse told both of us, on separate phone calls, that they had to take her cell phone away because she kept calling 9-1-1 and claiming that she was being "held against her will". The cell wasn't returned to her when she was released, and I was told over the phone that they can't find it and (naturally) claim that they aren't responsible for it being missing. I told the nurse that they better find and return it or I'll be sending them a bill.
