Welcome to IWETHEY!

New He has his moments.
When he was actually Prime Minister, he had a reputation for micro-management. :-/

The Royal Commission into Murdoch's dominance of Aussie media is but one aspect. There is a more-or-less grass-roots movement that is chipping noticeably away at Murdoch's income by asking advertisers to well _not advertise_ on Murdoch media. It is telling that News Corp Australia made a substantial loss last financial year.

New Thanks for the Upper; this boycott + your sterling chops: puts Oz-land way-up in atta-boys!
And yeah.. while the ref'd example was quite al-punte, I can well imagine the guy to sometimes be afflicted with er, politico-glossolalia?

Oz folk being down-Under does not mean that they ..are 'One-down'..
(Did you ever peep that ('US early '60s IIRC) flic: School for Scoundrels, starring the hilarious Alastair Simm ?
Punch-line of one of his classes: He who is not one-Up is one-Down ..pretty much the exact raison s'etre of
our very own Menace--as the flic re-reminded moi :-)

Keep the Murdoch Monster's feet to the fire, y'Hear!? (Let us know how it's going, eh?)--we Needs as much
bitchin' News as can be found, as millions of nostrils seek to flush-away the Drumpf-stench.
New The group targetting News Corp has already has success.
They called "Mad Fucking Witches" and they've already got a couple of ultra-right-wing nutjobs off the airwaves. There is evidence one in particular was told "leave or you're fired as of right now - you're costing us too much lost revenue" but no-one who knows will say.

The real prize, of course, is to turf out the right-wing government, which is widely regarded as being in the pockets of big oil and Murdoch.
