In any case, the Republican party (not it's voters, but the actual party members) are mostly tired of Trump. Sure there's some true believers/kompromat-blackmailed individuals that will stand by him even unto death, but I think the vast majority see him as a useful idiot and don't want to piss off his base. They'll keep playing the "Oh, such a horrible thing that the election was stolen from us" violins aiming for 2022, while secretly breathing a sigh of relief that the Orange One no longer bothers them.
