Yes. Very Stock RH 7.3
Personal Operating System 7.3 right out of the box from Office Depot ;-)
As far as the browser goes, Konquerer 3.0.0-12 and Netscape 4.79 (distributed w/Red Hat). I do not have Squid running and this box is hooked to a modem. I'm using KPP to dial up an ISP.
Damn, now I'm done posting, will have to only read now :-(

OT re: Personal Operating System
Don't people check their acronyms before diciding on names?

Any other proxies?
This sounds a bit like the problem Junkbuster 2.0 causes when HTTP 1.1 is used because it can't handle it.

Did this work?
I just successfully posted in another forum. I marked this one read before I tried to post again. Wonder what will happen now.

But only sporadically now.

IF I were you....
Get Mozilla 1.0 Source...
cd /usr/local/src tar zxf /path/you/put/it/mozilla-source-1.0.tar.gz cd /usr/local/src/mozilla ./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc make && make install
Run mozilla from command prompt... You'll be much happier. That TABBED browsing things is wonder, especially if you have you "wheel" mouse working... ;)
I know I am much happier... only problem now, is actually seeing things like "Browser not supported" but running Netscape 6.2 is... and IE 5+ is too...
Oh well. I just avoid those other sights with the "forethought" to exclude Mozilla browsers.
