Not a problem here . . .
. . I sawed the end off that pipe to replace the fittings and access plug with plastic. No rot here.

My house must have missed that memo
The guttering and downpipes are, for the most part, the originals from 1935.

when my kitchen sink drain under the slab broke
the pipe that came thru the outside underneath of the slab was like crepe paper, 50 years old.
