Chrome and/or UBlock Origin blocking Disqus
Noticed it over the weekend. Could no longer see the comments on Crooks and Liars. I can see them if I run Firefox, which has AdBlock Plus installed, which I find curious. Satan (impatiently) to Newcomer: The trouble with you Chicago people is, that you think you are the best people down here; whereas you are merely the most numerous. - - - Mark Twain, "Pudd'nhead Wilson's New Calendar" 1897 |

Does Chrome have built-in tracking blocking now?
That would likely disable Disqus. Disqus is built on cross-site tracking. I know Vivaldi has this blocking now (Vivaldi is based on Chromium) and I've seen it block things I didn't expect. Wade. |

I saw something like that...
at BlueVirginia.US - Chrome + UBO. No way to see the Disqus comments. Closing the tab and making a fresh one fixed it for me when forcing a refresh wouldn't. I assume something got scrambled in the cache for the session, or something. Good luck! Cheers, Scott. |

That's a feature, not a bug.
