New The Worm Is Back
Regards,
-scott
Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson.
New I was wondering what the heck does Dennis Rodman have to do with NASA?
"Science is the belief in the ignorance of the experts" – Richard Feynman
New Blecch.
bcnu,
Mikem

It's mourning in America again.
New I prefer the worm. It's the one I grew up with.
Regards,
-scott
Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson.
New Yeah, well, I'm old enough to remember the Mercury missions. Toddler. ;0)
It helped that I had a NASA engineer living across the street who shared all kinds of info "from work" with my four and five year old self.
bcnu,
Mikem

It's mourning in America again.
New Heh. I was born a few months before Armstrong set foot.
Regards,

Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson.
New So was my youngest! :)
Alex

"There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that "my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge."

-- Isaac Asimov
New Once again my Hopes were dashed..
"I never want to get That-old".

Oh.. wait..
(Still ... as the little ball spins around--heading for that [00] slot, it remains: one Helluva Freak-show, innit?)
New When I was in the Soviet Union!
bcnu,
Mikem

It's mourning in America again.
New Da Tovarisch..
May not have remarked: my Fav Aunt Florence (was said to have been) a Communist in the '30s. People who could elaborate--all gone now.

When I reached sentient age, I always considered that she [my argot not Hers!] had realized that: 'Murican Vulture-Kapitalismo-as-it-was: would ever cosset solely The Rich..
and that she was, "..Mad as Hell and Won't Take It Anymore!"
Which realization got her my #1 spot of Endearment. (Her siblings /my Uncles were--I think now--pretty-much with the Deplorables in such matters ..maybe not-quite the Despicables.

And so it goes.
New Worm is best. Science FACT.
New Fail.
bcnu,
Mikem

It's mourning in America again.
New Reminds of ..the StarTrek 'V-ger'.
the episode in which the long-lost V(oya)ger had been 'repaired' by usual-alien-No-Shows and turned into a marauding Monster (with the Drumpf-obsession),
Must Sterilize All Imperfections Found ...with Nice potboiler-End.

Star Trek ..when the milieu in which currently you exist: seems bereft of any Interesting!! material you'd want to believe-in. Evah.
