I am maintaining social distancing, in fact, social isolation. Not a problem, it's my normal fate. We are, of course, in severe lock-down and the freeways are nearly empty.
I go out to two markets every two to three days to check what is in short supply and what is not. Market trips are permitted by the lock-down protocols, but the markets now post an LA county notice that persons with symptoms may not enter the stores.
Paper goods are in strict rationing (as they should have been weeks ago). I replenished my TP supply today, to maintain my pre-COVID supply level. Paper napkins have been in good supply for a week, but paper towels are still not seen around here. I did get a roll when I went out to Vietnam a week ago.
Meats, fruits, vegetables and other perishables are in normal supply. Canned goods, some junk foods, and cleaning supplies are still in severe shortage. Gasoline has dropped to below $3.00 per gallon for the first time in living memory.
I have a good supply of 5 year Armenian Brandy, which I use for throat sterilization (80° proof).
Amazon next day delivery is a fading memory now. Even things listed as "in stock" may be weeks before delivery.
