Tulsi Gabbard, Useful Idiot to Fascists everywhere.
Democratic presidential candidate Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii voted "present" on both articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump on Wednesday, later slamming the process as politically motivated.
Gabbard's vote did not jeopardize the easy House majorities to charge Trump with abuse of power followed by obstruction of Congress. But the move aligned with her previously wavering on impeachment, having run as the sole Democrat not in favor of an impeachment inquiry before deciding to support it.
"After doing my due diligence in reviewing the 658-page impeachment report, I came to the conclusion that I could not in good conscience vote either yes or no," Gabbard, who declined to talk with reporters following her votes, said in a statement soon afterward.
She added that she could not oppose impeachment "because I believe President Trump is guilty of wrongdoing," nor could she back it "because removal of a sitting President must not be the culmination of a partisan process, fueled by tribal animosities that have so gravely divided our country." https://www.cnn.com/2019/12/18/politics/tulsi-gabbard-present-impeachment/index.htmlWhat do you reckon? Is her speechwriter Trump or Putin?

And she thinks she could be the president?

"There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that "my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge."

FFS.
The only "partisan process" here was the Republicans distorting reality. They all betrayed the oaths they took to enter the House. Hell, one of them was directly involved in the conduct he was allegedly investigating (Nunes) and your boys McConnell and Graham have explicitly stated that they are not even "going to pretend to be impartial" because Trump is a Republican. Only one side was guilty of being a bunch of partisan hacks and that persists to this day. Tulsi, like her fellow RWNJ's, is towing the same line and spewing the same sort of false equivalence. I suppose we shouldn't be surprised that someone who had great things to say about Assad would happily take propaganda orders from Putin, but if you really can't see this bitch for what she is I genuinely feel sorry for you.
I'm looking forward to her next career at Fox News or Breitbart. At least then she'll finally get her snout out of the public trough.

Mitch discovered the hack
To people who don't pay close enough attention, the assumption is, "If this were a good idea, at least some of the other side would support it."
Simply say "no" to everything, then accuse your opponents of being partisan. If you can maintain party discipline, it will look like the other side are the unreasonable ones.
Someone will crack this problem, but so far I haven't seen how.
