Sizeable Earthquake.
Don't know where yet, but far from here, 10:40 am. For first 10 seconds or so, very gentle rocking increasing to moderate rocking, then about 5 seconds of strong rocking. No sharp motion around here (Los Angeles). Haven't felt anything like this for years.

Looks like Death Valley, 10:33 am M 6.6
Probably minimal damage.
Interesting item. Along Pennsylvania Avenue where I live, every time a loud motorcycle or truck goes by, at least one SUV will start sounding its alarm. I noticed none resulting from the significant rolling shaking from this earthquake

Ok, at 8:19, from practically the same spot - 7.1
Well, all those volunteers re-shelving the books at the library will have something to do in the morning. A nice ride around here, a little more clanking than this morning.

Yep, it took significant air to cover.
Cthulhu also provided the rain during the "speech". If you missed the speech, you will not have learned the following: quoting Baltimore SunIn June of 1775, The Continental Congress created a unified army out of the revolutionary forces encamped around Boston and New York, and named after the great George Washington, commander in chief,” Trump said in his speech. “The Continental Army suffered a bitter winter of Valley Forge, found glory across the waters of the Delaware and seized victory from Cornwallis of Yorktown. Our army manned the air. It rammed the ramparts. It took over the airports. It did everything it had to do. At [Fort McHenry], under the rockets’ red glare, it had nothing but victory. A when dawn came, their star-spangled banner waived defiant.” Airports? Commingling Revolutionary and War of 1812? What an ignoramus!
