NHK News today: Veggie-burger revolution (?) in Japan.. food-for-thought?
(Their selected) tasters: ~~"looks like __ smells like __tastes like __". Costs an extra $USD thus far, but.. who knows if the Japanese just gots more cuth than the Rich/Iggerant plots?
Haven't had ground-beef in decades, but have made various substitutes with actual-fresh fixings ..varying from good-enough ---> Good! YM(eal)MV ('Course.. we have to live long enough ... ..ever to see any ∆ in the planet's Chances.)

Burger King is selling Impossible burgers
And Impossible is in a war with Beyond Burgers for control of the market, so it appears to be happening over here too.

Not yet, I think it's SF only right now.
But the White Castles around here have them, so I don't think BK will be far behind.

Tally Ho..! in the interim, 'let them eat words'. Eh? How Murican can ya get..
Have eschewed ground-beef long ago, but it's the fixins which are neutral. Gotta try one of these, should they arrive here in rural-ville..
All in all, this seems a brilliant intro for a futchah whose cuisine Shall be unrecognizable (assuming re the other effects ..there's a semblance of Order remaining). Burgers --> Faux-beef Wellington may take a while.

I hope you'll understand ...
... if I don't take a vegetarian's word for what tastes like meat.
