Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Yes and no.
It just might signify a willingness to overcome the perennial chestnut of, the Right way, the Wrong way and ... the Army way. Admitting that you don't knoe Everything - is surely an initial step towards Enlightenment. Hearing (a certain amount of) revolutionary (!) alternatives to stuff seemingly set in mental concrete: what could be bad about that?

It could be a sign of maturity, even - so much of military rote is based upon that precious idea of conformity, homogeneity (they Do wear uniforms, y'know? ;-), and the great catchall to stifle discussion: tradition. There are occasions when a small breath of innovative common sense - couldn't hoit?

I'd give the ad a conditional thumbs up ^^^

New My take
Going outside means they do not have the historical knowledge to do it themselves due to attrition of good people. This means our readiness as a fighting force is about tango uniform.

TAM ARIS QUAM ARMIPOTENS
New I wonder why that would be.
Considering how many times we've fought over the past 50 years.

Why would we be experiencing a brain-drain now?
New Since 92 the military was downsized
and the peckerwood pencilnecked geek ticket punchers took over while heaving out the shooters looters top kicks and CPO's.
thanx,
bill
