New Microsoft Index Server for IIS Question
Dunno how I got here... :)

Here's the problem: we're setting up a search engine for our online documentation. The company is using IIS, so we're using IIS's Index Server.

We want the documentation to be able to either do a free-text search or search keywords hidden in the meta tags of each html document. We'll be using the keywords as a way for people to automatically filter out any document not associated with their specific department or project.

We've found the command that you need to enter into the Index Server controls to enable the caching of metatag information, but we haven't figured out how to get it to commit that change (none of us really have much experience with this beast).

After that we need to figure out how to get it to only search metatags, but that's a problem for another day, methinks.

Anyone here know how to get this stupid server to commit changes? Thanks for any help...

New No experience with Index Server specifically...
but stop and restart the service usually does the trick on IIS services.
