October 29th Music Group Menu
This was a program featuring all Chinese composers, so I produced an all Chinese menu. Pictorial MenuThe surprise was the Preserved Duck Eggs, which have been featured in a number of on-line "most disgusting foods" discussions. They were well liked, and a whole half dozen cut into quarters were consumed in short order. Incidentally, if you buy these, see that they are from Taiwan, as mainland Chinese often use lead and other heavy metals to speed up the cure. Of the music features, Tan Dun's Bitter Love was, as expected, the run-away favorite. It is a set of excerpts from Tan Dun's opera The Peony Pavilion.

Mongolian Chicken would be my pick.

Yeah, that was one of thosce Chick fil A cows.
Lured it here by saying I was developing a great new chicken recipe (Mongolian Chicken). Knocked it on the noggin. Took the parts I needed and sold the rest to the taco truck on the corner.
Of course, as soon as Hillary is elected, there will be a taco truck on every corner - very convenient.

That's because it was a purchased product.
But I'll add a link to the page for it in a few minutes.

The "sound" isn't the point here - it's the taste.
If people didn't like them, as my totally non-Asian guests did, the Asian markets wouldn't stock huge piles of them.
