Let me see if I have this correctly.
Hillary publicly states her position on a policy is X. Privately her position is Y. She goes to Private Meeting with her actual constituents (large Wall St. Banksters) and says, "Don't worry about my public statement of X, you know, my real position is Y." You're saying that the public is not the one being fooled, it is the donors who are being fooled? |

Or could be both. She has certain goals that could conflict with either. Maybe someone has a litmus test and will donate or vote for her if she passes, and not if she fails. So she walks a careful line. EVERY politician has to do this is they need to cobble a coalition of people together. Reality is complex. Sorry. |
