Wifey and I went and saw "Memento" earlier this week.
What an incredible flick.
Overview:
Guy's wife gets raped and murdered. In an attempt to thwart the criminals he sustains a head injury which causes brain damage, and loss of all short term memories (he basically doesn't make memories anymore, but remembers everything before the event).
Armed with a Polaroid, notes, and tattoos as a replacement to his memories, he streaks out to try to find the killer.
Can't say much more without giving stuff away, but I'll just say that it's the first movie in a LONG time that makes you think.
A refreshing change in a current world of "dumbed down" action flicks.
